Snow tubing is on the other side of the mountain just five miles drive. The only downside is nothing against the house itself. The upside of being perched on the hill comes with the downside of having to drive up said hill to reach the cabin.
The hill is steep and intimidating requiring an engine gun to get up. The parking pad, especially in winter, was a bit scary too. But all in all, this is the perfect cozy retreat for those who appreciate a rustic cabin-in a magazine-but really just want to be at home when they are away.
